Dear Answer Man: The other day I drove on 37th Street Northwest west of U.S. Highway 52 — through the old IBM campus — and on the south side of the technology campus in a parking lot is a bunch of building materials. There’s also construction equipment. What’s going on? Is something about to be built there? — Cruisin’ Susan.
Dear Susan,
First, unless you work there, that road has a sign that says it is private property. Although technically nothing is stopping you or others from driving through on 37th Street, around the corner, then down 31st Avenue Northwest to Valleyhigh Drive.
That said, needing to take a look, Answer Man took a tour of the IBM loop as well, and saw what you saw: construction equipment, materials, etc. A bunch of stuff is there and appears to be staged for ongoing work.
