Apple is preparing for the reveal iOS 16 next month at WWDC and we can’t wait, especially now that the rumors are mounting about what to expect.
Although we probably won’t see that iPhone 14 At the June event, we’ll get a decent look at iOS 16, the next version of macOS, and maybe some cool hardware upgrades, like a new iPad.
Corresponding Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, an ever-reliable source for everything Apple has to offer, the company has a few tricks up its sleeve.
Gurman revealed some details in his weekly newspaper Power-On Newsletterand said Apple isn’t planning a major visual redesign, but will be rolling out some “fresh Apple apps,” new widgets, and more.
Unfortunately, the newsletter doesn’t go into much detail, but it was rumored that Apple was developing Apple classic, a music streaming service that focuses solely on classical music. Of course, Gurman says “apps” in the plural, so there might be a few more surprises.
Widgets are another area of interest as iOS catches up with Android. Currently, iOS can display widgets for Apple’s own apps and any third-party apps that developers update to support them. It will be interesting to see where Apple goes from there.
“While I don’t expect Apple to unveil a complete redesign of the software, there should be significant changes throughout the system, new ways of interacting, and some fresh Apple apps,” says Gurman. “The watchOS 9 news will also be significant.”
That Apple watch was skipped for a major update last time, making WWDC the perfect time to release a major hardware and software update.

What else can we expect from iOS 16?
As we said above, iOS 16 leaks are getting more and more detailed and extensive as we get closer to the event itself.
T3 has already written about it several rumours and items on the wishlist but we wanted to go through a few more quickly.
First off, we could see the introduction of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) capabilities, which would make sense given that it’s Apple rumored working on a headset or two that will be available for years to come.
We could also see advanced emergency features including satellite technology which can geolocate users even in the most remote locations. Before the iPhone 14, Apple could add these to iOS 16.
Of course, all of these improvements would come to pass best iPhones on the market.
