iPhone 14 leaks: display size

Compared to the iPhone 13, the display size may remain the same, but with one noticeable change. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will likely retain the 6.1-inch display size, while the iPhone 4 Pro Max will get the larger 6.7-inch display. But the twist comes in the form of the iPhone 14 Max (also dubbed the iPhone 14 Plus by some leakers). According to leaks, the iPhone 14 Max will get a 6.7-inch display, putting it on par with Apple’s most expensive iPhone model.

Changes are also planned for the appearance of the display. As mentioned above, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have been tipped to feature a double pill and hole cutouts instead of a huge notch. The punch cutout houses the front camera while the pill cutout houses the FaceID sensors. This could free up some screen real estate for users.

iPhone 14 Leaks: Show refresh rate

While the iPhone 13 stayed at 60Hz, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max got a variable refresh rate that could be scaled between 10Hz and 120Hz, adding a dynamic element. according to a new leak, it seems that the non-Pro models of the iPhone 14 could get a higher refresh rate this year. While on the iPhone 14 Pro models, the top end of the refresh rate can stay at 120 Hz, the bottom end can drop as low as 1 Hz. Not only will it bring better battery performance, but it may also make way for the always-on display feature that’s been rumored for a while.
