Private Internet Access: How was your current position and what do you love about working in cybersecurity?

Nathan Collins: In the late 90s, I was an economics graduate from UCW Aberystwyth and decided not to go anywhere near IT. IT was the job my father chose and I wanted to go a different way. Unfortunately, I’ve failed spectacularly on this endeavor with my 20+ year career in technical leadership, advisory services, support services, and everything else technology-related. However, over the past 5 years I have taken a bit of the pace of becoming a sales manager.

Love is too strong a word for my opinion on cybersecurity. It’s almost like preaching and no matter how you preach to clients to be prepared, sometimes they decide that this is not a tangible benefit …
