The blue screen of death prompted many to post hilarious memes, with the Fremantle Dockers leading the way.
Poking fun at the mega-glitch, the club recommended fans go back to old technology to get their tickets for Sunday’s game against Melbourne at Optus Stadium.
Alongside an old photo of a fan taking a picture of Fremantle legend Peter Bell with a now defunct Nokia phone, the Dockers posted the caption: “IT department have recommended we get out the old tech.”
Eva Vijay vented her frustrations by posting a meme of a woman hitting her laptop in frustration alongside the caption: “People enjoying long weekend!!!!”
Others were intent on having a go at Microsoft, posting memes referring to its clueless IT department.
