RALEIGH – The Global Data Consortium (GDC), a global platform for identity verification, has grown by around 120 percent year-on-year since 2016. They currently cover 70 countries and scale across multiple industries, including Fintech, Gaming and RegTech.
Founded in 2011, the Raleigh company is also the first to feature in a new multimedia series produced in partnership with Innovate Raleigh. The series aims to showcase a cross-section of domestic startups that are on their way to becoming a $ 1 billion company also known as the “unicorn”.
WRALTechWire’s Chantal Allam recently had the opportunity to visit GDC founders Bill Spruill and Charles Gaddy at their new headquarters in the historic Pilot Mill complex in downtown Raleigh.
