Bloom Energy has entered into a power capacity agreement with Intel Corporation to create the largest fuel cell-powered high-performance computing data center in Silicon Valley. The agreement involves installing additional megawatts of Bloom Energy’s fuel cell-based Energy Server at Intel’s existing computing data center in Santa Clara, CA. This expansion builds upon an existing Bloom Energy fuel cell facility that has been in operation at the company’s facilities since 2014.

Ravi Prasher, Chief Technology Officer at Bloom Energy, expressed pride in being a long-term supplier to Intel and supporting the company’s data center capacity development amidst severe grid constraints.
