The annual Collision conference, which has been held in Toronto since 2019, will be rebranded as the Web Summit Vancouver in May 2025. This conference attracts thousands of tech entrepreneurs, investors, and journalists each year. Many networking events tied to the conference are held at off-site locations or overlap with conference dates.

One highlight of this year’s conference is the Intel-sponsored AI showcase taking place at the Illuminarium in Toronto from June 20 to 27. This exhibition, centered around the theme of AI, will feature Intel’s new Intel Core Ultra mobile processors for first-generation AI PCs. Intel is known for its leadership and innovation in semiconductor design and manufacturing.

Asma Aziz, the chief marketing officer at Intel Canada, expressed excitement about showcasing how the company is influencing the arts through artificial intelligence. The Intel Encore AI exhibition aims to celebrate the synergy between human creativity and AI. Nine new media artists have used Intel technology to create evolving art pieces for the exhibition. Attendees can interact with the art pieces in a living art gallery environment with projections on walls and floors and surround sound.

One installation at the exhibition creates a constantly evolving music soundtrack that attendees can manipulate, while other stations allow attendees to input prompts to generate stylized, custom art pieces in real-time using AI. This showcase is part of Intel’s campaign to launch its first-generation Intel Core Ultra mobile processors for AI PCs, with consumer devices powered by the chip on display at the end of the exhibit.

This exhibition serves as a preview of the innovative displays and demonstrations that may be seen at the Web Summit Vancouver in 2025. Companies continue to find creative and inspiring ways to showcase their technology through exhibits like these.
