Synergy SKY has recently announced the integration of its Connect solution with the Cisco WebEx Control Hub and Cisco devices. This integration allows for seamless, scalable, and secure deployment of video devices across multiple workspaces with centralized management through the Cisco WebEx Control Hub. The Synergy SKY Connect offering enhances the user experience by providing a universal solution for joining meetings on various platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, or Webex.

The Vice President of Products at Cisco, Espen Løberg, expressed that Cisco’s strategy for devices is to be open and accessible for use with any meeting platform. The integration with Synergy Sky will make it easier for joint customers to scale and manage the ability to join meetings seamlessly across different platforms.

The Connect for Webex Control Hub is particularly beneficial for businesses with mixed device deployments, public sector organizations with both hosted and on-premises video solutions, and enterprises wanting a centralized management system to expand video adoption across any workspace to support hybrid work environments.

Some key features of the Connect integration with Webex Control Hub include centralized management from a single interface, the ability to join meetings on any platform with a single click, improved collaboration and productivity through simplified workflows, secure video conferencing with robust security features, and optimized room utilization by automatically releasing rooms when no participants are present.

In recent Cisco news, the company reported continued revenue declines from its collaboration meetings and device solutions, offset by the growth of cloud contact and call centers. The latest earnings call for Q3 FY24 highlighted stable collaboration sales, declining meeting revenue, and device sales, with growth in cloud call and contact centers stabilizing collaboration revenue. Order growth for collaboration products was positive, indicating optimism for the long-term health of Cisco’s collaboration business.

Additionally, Altafiber launched a business calling solution with Webex, providing a comprehensive communication platform for organizations and their customers with easy-to-use features and intuitive applications. Cisco also announced a pilot project with Morgan Solar to power collaboration and meeting spaces using solar energy and Webex integration to maximize energy savings and minimize waste.

Overall, the integration of Synergy SKY’s Connect solution with Cisco WebEx Control Hub offers businesses a streamlined joining experience across multiple meeting platforms, enhancing collaboration, productivity, and room utilization while ensuring secure video conferencing and centralized management.
