Take Five: Takeaways from KubeCon North America 2021

The flagship conference Kubernetes (K8s) of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation,

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2021
(aka “KubeCon”), was held as a live event at the Los Angeles Convention Center and practically October 13-15, 2021 (with a previous event October 11-12). The virtual event had around 17,000 participants, around 4,000 of whom were in person. Below are some of the articles that I found particularly interesting at KubeCon.

Example 1: New members added to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF)
The CNCF announced that the organization has grown incredibly over the past year. They now have more than 725 members, up from 600 members last year. CNCF now has more than 138,000 contributors and 110 graduate, incubation, and sandbox projects. Below are a few companies that I noticed at the event.
