Informatica has introduced three new features developed in collaboration with Microsoft to support companies looking to develop and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) agents with trusted data.
The collaboration will focus on integrating Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) with Microsoft Foundry, an enterprise-class AI platform.
Integration of AI agents
The partnership enables customers to connect AI agents built through Microsoft Foundry directly to Informatica’s cloud data services.
This connection leverages the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an industry standard that enables AI agents to access Informatica’s data management, quality and master data management capabilities in near real-time. The goal of the integration is to help companies deploy AI solutions while maintaining data compliance and trust.
