IndyCar has announced a new partnership with technology company Cisco, which will also extend to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). Cisco will be responsible for securely connecting all aspects of IndyCar’s business, and both organizations will collaborate to explore technology improvement opportunities across Penske Entertainment’s portfolio. Additionally, IndyCar will utilize the Webex platform for press interviews and to enhance fan engagement. Cisco will also become the presenting sponsor of IndyCar’s Customer Hospitality Business Hub.

This partnership with IndyCar complements Cisco’s existing relationship with McLaren Racing, focused on the team’s Formula One and F1 Academy teams. This marks IndyCar’s first new partnership in 2024, following extensions with American Medical Response, Molson Coors, NTT, and Sonsio earlier in the season. Cisco joins as the 41st official partner of IndyCar this year.

Mark Miles, president and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp, expressed his excitement about welcoming Cisco to the NTT IndyCar Series. He highlighted Cisco’s commitment to innovation and customer service, aligning with IndyCar’s values. Miles looks forward to leveraging Cisco’s expertise to enhance fan experiences as the sport continues to evolve.

The inaugural Business Hub presented by Cisco will debut at the upcoming Indianapolis 500 on May 26, with additional events planned at the Detroit Grand Prix and the season finale at Nashville Superspeedway.

In conclusion, IndyCar’s new partnership with Cisco signifies a significant collaboration aimed at leveraging technology to enhance the fan experience and streamline operations across the organization. Cisco’s expertise in networking and security will play a key role in connecting various aspects of IndyCar’s business and exploring technological advancements within Penske Entertainment’s portfolio. The partnership underscores IndyCar’s commitment to innovation and creating an engaging environment for fans, with the potential for further developments in the future events.
