New Delhi, November 16 (IANS) India’s enterprise AI landscape has reached an inflection point as nearly half of Indian companies (47 percent) now have multiple generative AI (GenAI) use cases live, while 23 percent are in the pilot phase – marking a critical shift from pilot to performance, a report said on Sunday.
Indian companies are showing great confidence by embedding AI into core business workflows to deliver measurable results.
According to a joint report by EY and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), 76 percent of business leaders believe GenAI will have significant business impact and 63 percent are ready to use it effectively.
“Our survey shows that companies in India have moved beyond experimentation. Almost half of the companies already have multiple use cases in production,” said Mahesh Makhija, Head of Partner and Technology Consulting at EY India.
“For companies, the focus must now shift from building pilot projects to designing processes…”
