“I’m nervous”: Major AI backer warns of trillion-dollar spending

London | Klarna boss Sebastian Siemiatkowski is the latest prominent investor in artificial intelligence to warn against the technology industry’s billion-dollar push to build data centers for AI models.

Siemiatkowski – who, through his family office Flat Capital, holds shares in well-known AI companies such as OpenAI, Perplexity, xAI and Cerebras – said this Financial Times that the huge sums of money being poured into the computer infrastructure made him “nervous.”
