IDeaS and Oracle celebrate success with successful integration of OHIP

IDeaS, a provider of hotel revenue management software, recently announced a milestone with nearly 2,000 active properties on Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP). This integration links IDeaS RMS solutions, including G3 RMS, with Oracle’s OPERA Cloud platform through OHIP and Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

With a history of 25 years in hospitality innovation, IDeaS and Oracle are close to reaching 10,000 shared customers. The seamless connection of IDeaS G3 RMS to OPERA Cloud via OHIP allows for quick deployments for hoteliers without Oracle’s direct intervention.

Connected hotels have expressed enthusiasm for the platform’s increased efficiency, ease of integration, and faster interface. IDeaS currently connects 50 to 100 hotels each week, enabling rapid integration of future capabilities and additional solutions.

Oracle Cloud Marketplace serves as a centralized hub for Oracle customers seeking business applications that extend Oracle Cloud applications. The marketplace offers high performance, next-generation security, and services such as SaaS, application development, application hosting, and business analytics. Customers benefit from various services aimed at improving and modernizing workloads, including compute, storage, data management, security, integration, HPC, AI, and blockchain services. Oracle Autonomous Database, the industry’s first autonomous database, is also included in Oracle Cloud.

Klaus Kohlmayr, Chief Evangelist and Chief Development Officer at IDeaS, emphasized the significance of this development, noting the hospitality industry’s need for faster data exchanges and increased capabilities to handle growing data volumes. OHIP accelerates data exchange and efficiently transmits the 12 billion pricing decisions processed daily by IDeaS, allowing for faster innovation as an Oracle partner. This advancement enables data-driven revenue management and helps hoteliers make informed decisions for optimal results.

Laura Calin, vice president of Hotel Strategy and Solution Management at Oracle, highlighted the benefits of Oracle Cloud Marketplace, describing it as a repository of top hospitality software and services available in the market. IDeaS Revenue Solutions can leverage Oracle’s self-service integration platform to scale implementations and simplify their front-end support model.

The integration of IDeaS RMS solutions with Oracle’s OPERA Cloud platform through OHIP represents progress for connected properties, offering faster deployments, enhanced efficiency, and streamlined integration processes.
