IBM announced the general availability of its cloud for the financial industry, supported by support for Red Hat OpenShift, among other cloud-native services.
The company’s IBM Cloud for Financial Services, developed in collaboration with Bank of America and launched in 2019, enables customers and partners to build applications with OpenShift, migrate virtual machine workloads, and build compliance profiles for their workloads to ensure ongoing Support to support compliance requirements.
Current customers and partners include Bank of America BNP Paribas, Luminor Bank based in the Baltic States and MUFG in Japan. The initiative also includes more than 90 ISVs and software service providers. New to the latter list is SAP.
