IBM has unveiled a new tool called Maximo Emissions Management, powered by AI, to aid asset-intensive industries like energy, transportation, and buildings in tracking and reporting on emissions. This solution, part of the IBM Maximo suite, enables companies to monitor both continuous and fugitive operational emissions. It offers an operational dashboard for accessing real-time data on environmental incidents, reporting incidents, identifying areas for improvement, calculating the CO2e impact of incidents, and monitoring progress.
Integrated with IBM’s ESG data platform, IBM Envizi, Maximo Emissions Management supports operational emissions and sustainability reporting. Kendra DeKeyrel, IBM’s VP of asset management and ESG product leader, highlighted how this innovative AI technology can optimize asset utilization, boost productivity and reliability, cut costs, and drive decarbonization efforts.
