IBM’s General Manager of the ecosystem Kate Woolley announced at IBM Think 2024 that the company will be launching an MSP program to help MSPs work more effectively with IBM. This new program will offer MSP-ready offerings from IBM’s automation portfolio to provide value to MSPs. The program will simplify onboarding, provide resources, and offer benefits aligned with the preferences of MSP partners.
Sergio Farache, EVP of global technology business at IBM Partner and TD Synnex distributor, emphasized the importance of MSPs in driving AI adoption. MSPs play a crucial role in technology adoption and are seen as trusted advisors to IBM clients, especially when it comes to AI and generative AI.
IBM aims to empower its partners to make more money by incorporating IBM Cloud Platform and software support into the IBM Partner Plus program. This move is part of IBM’s ongoing efforts to invest in partner programs and provide resources for skill development.
TD Synnex has invested in enabling 100 partners to achieve IBM Gold Tier status through their IBM watsonx Gold 100 program. The goal is to support partners in leveraging IBM watsonx opportunities, particularly in AI, by offering guidance, training, and coaching to navigate the AI revolution.
IBM Think 2024, which is scheduled for May 20-23 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, will continue to explore opportunities for partners to engage with IBM and drive innovation in the AI space.
