Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, November 15, 2021 / CNW / – Today at ADIPEC, IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) company, announced the two companies were taking advantage of the benefits IBM Open will combine Data for Industries for IBM Cloud Pak for Data and the AWS Cloud for energy customers. This comprehensive solution is based on Red Hat OpenShift and runs on the AWS Cloud, making it easier for customers to run workloads on the AWS Cloud and on-premises. The two companies also intend to work together on further joint development of future features to provide more flexibility and choice for running OSDU applications.
