IBM and Amazon Web Services (AWS) will combine the benefits of IBM Open Data for Industries for IBM Cloud Pak for Data and AWS Cloud to serve energy customers. This comprehensive solution is based on Red Hat OpenShift and runs on the AWS Cloud, making it easier for customers to run workloads on the AWS Cloud and on-premises. The two companies also intend to work together on further joint development of future features to provide more flexibility and choice for running OSDU applications.
