The sell-off at Oracle and Netflix is making the desire to join the $1 trillion club more and more distant.
In August, I predicted it The Netflix (NFLX +1.37%) And oracle (ORCL +3.21%) would reach a market cap of at least $1 trillion by 2030. But Netflix is down 38.6% from its 52-week high at the time of writing, while Oracle is down a staggering 56.5%.
As I write this, Netflix’s market cap is just $346.9 billion, and Oracle is at $410.4 billion – a far cry from joining Nvidia, alphabet, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Broadcom, Metaplatforms, Tesla, Berkshire HathawayAnd Walmart on the list of US companies with a market capitalization of at least $1 trillion.
