The most compelling science fiction worlds go unexplained; they are revealed. Ben Mauros Huxley works on this principle and offers fragments of history, ritual and violence that bring to mind much larger machines and structures that are simply outside the frame. The latest animated short continues that tradition, acting less as a trailer for the franchise’s second book and more as a window into an evolving mythology.
The animated short film directed by Syama Pedersen – better known online as Digital bones – and set in the world created by Mauro, it serves as both a sound piece and a proof of concept for the expansion Huxley Saga.
