HPE upgrades Atlético de Madrid stadium connectivity with AI-powered network
Top-tier La Liga football club Atlético de Madrid has launched a multi-year project to improve digital connectivity at its Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium using HPE Networking technology that incorporates artificial intelligence, automation and energy-efficient design. The project, carried out during the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons, will replace the site’s eight-year-old infrastructure with more than 1,500 Wi-Fi 7 access points managed through HPE Aruba Central, the company’s AIOps platform.
