HPE Revenue rose in its final quarter of fiscal 2025, with a Juniper-inspired jump in networking revenue, but server revenue declined even as the market saw increased demand for AI servers.
Revenue for what is now, CEO and president Antonio Neri said, “a network-centric company,” was $9.7 billion, up 14 percent year-over-year and just below its low-end guidance, due to some delays in AI shipments, with GAAP profit of just $146 million, down 89.1 percent year-over-year. It was HPE’s seventh consecutive quarter of growth. Total revenue for fiscal 2025 was $34.3 billion, up 13.8 percent from last year, with a profit of just $4 million, following the $1 billion GAAP loss in the second quarter of fiscal 2025. ARR for its GreenLake subscription business rose to $3.2 billion, up 3.2 percent quarter-over-quarter and up 68.4 percent year-over-year, and racked up more than 7,000 shipments of Alletra MP storage arrays for the year.
