Instead of tying together multiple single- or two-socket servers, the 3250 acts as one large shared memory machine, reducing server sprawl and complex data reassembly for target workloads such as SAP HANAOracle and Microsoft SQL Server, according to HPE.
The server also supports HPE’s Integrated Lights Out (iLO) management technology, which allows customers to diagnose and resolve server problems, configure and manage access, and perform a variety of other automated tasks to improve efficiency, according to HPE.
