The US Department of Justice negotiated a settlement with the companies, which now must be reviewed by the court. Twelve states and the District of Columbia were allowed to intervene in the case and filed a separate stay motion on November 18. The court ordered HPE to file its opposition to the motion by December 9; Any government response will also be submitted by December 9; States must present their response to the opposition before December 23; followed by the hearing, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. See attached file. …
