This may seem like a strange idea, but it came about as part of our HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen11 Review. We normally use iLO Advanced, but our system comes with iLO Essentials.
We thought it would be worth showing iLO 6 Essentials before and after screens with features that indicate they require a license, to see what happens after installing the iLO 6 Advanced license. There are graphs that show this, but the idea is to have something that people can see next to the key changes.
We bought the iLO Advanced key on eBay (affiliate link) and then simply place it on the Advanced License screen.
