Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has launched new solutions as part of the HPE GreenLake cloud platform to streamline storage, data, and workload management across on-premises and public cloud environments. These solutions include a scalable modular block storage system that simplifies data management for SMBs and enterprises. The platform aims to enhance storage management, increase efficiency, and support business growth through cloud operating models, AI automation, and seamless data mobility.
HPE GreenLake Block Storage for AWS offers software-defined storage to simplify data management and workload placement in the cloud. It provides a unified storage management experience across hybrid cloud environments, enabling faster time-to-value and enterprise-class resiliency. This solution helps businesses streamline data management, application development, and deployment while offering cost-effective hybrid cloud data protection and disaster recovery.
The HPE Timeless Program improves the storage ownership experience by providing investment protection and a seamless infrastructure lifecycle. Customers using block storage on HPE Alletra MP can upgrade to the next-generation controller without interruption when renewing their subscription. This program guarantees an average 30% TCO savings by avoiding massive upgrades and includes the HPE 100% Data Availability Guarantee and HPE StoreMore data efficiency guarantees.
HPE GreenLake now integrates AIOps-enabled workload management tools such as HPE Infosight and OpsRamp to provide cross-stack analytics for proactive storage management. The AIOps engine enables customers to observe, predict, and mitigate disruptions across virtual machines, storage, network, compute, and cloud infrastructure. HPE Alletra MP customers can also monitor energy consumption and carbon emissions trends through the HPE Sustainability Insight Center.
The HPE Alletra MP offers mission-critical resiliency at mid-range economics, scalable up to 5.6 PB with support for up to 16 JBOF expansion shelves. It includes built-in global protection with three-site replication for enhanced data protection and integrates with Zerto Cyber Resilience Vault for secure and immutable data copies, ensuring rapid recovery after cyber attacks.
These new solutions from HPE GreenLake are set to be available soon. HPE GreenLake Block Storage for AWS will be available for order in late May 2024, the HPE Timeless program at the end of Q3 2024, and HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise Edition with HPE Alletra MP or HPE SimpliVity Gen11 in July 2024.
