HPE has revealed its role in ensuring connectivity at the 2026 Winter Olympics, in a deployment that marks the first major event not only with its own technology and services, but also those of the acquisition of Juniper Networks.
Milan Curtain 2026 It covers an area of more than 22,000 square kilometers (the most geographically dispersed Olympic Games in history) with more than 40 sites in more than 15 venues, highlighting the actions of 3,000 athletes participating in 116 events covering 19 disciplines.
From a technological point of view, Milano Cortina’s network infrastructure provider also has to do something completely unprecedented: offer connectivity and data security with Olympic levels of stability, capacity, performance and scale. In practical terms, that meant creating such a network over more than 7.5% of Italy’s territory, and with the two main event venues more than 400 km away, connecting a multitude of devices from organisers, athletes, media,…
