HPE expanded its partnership with Nvidia to launch an AI lab in Grenoble, France, a move aimed at addressing growing customer needs for greater control and autonomy over infrastructure and data.
Announced during HPE’s Discover Barcelona event, the company said the facility would allow customers to test and refine workloads in a sovereign, AI-cooled factory environment. The lab is equipped with Nvidia’s government-ready enterprise AI software, along with HPE servers and routers.
Essentially, the environment will provide customers with the ability to validate the performance of infrastructure located and operating in the European Union, “designed to support scaled AI for the region,” as well as address the data sovereignty and regulatory compliance needs of global companies operating in the bloc.
