HPE and NVIDIA Collaborate to Launch ‘NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE’ for Enhanced Generative AI Industrial Revolution

Hewlett Packard Company (HPE) and NVIDIA have announced the HPE NVIDIA AI Computing portfolio, which includes AI solutions and integrations to accelerate the adoption of generative AI. The key offering is AI in the HPE Private Cloud, a solution that integrates NVIDIA compute, networking, and AI software with HPE GreenLake cloud, computing, and storage services for an energy-efficient and fast path to develop generative AI applications.

The joint go-to-market strategy involves sales teams, channel partners, and systems integrators like Deloitte, HCLTech, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro, enabling companies to run complex AI workloads across various industries. The expansion of this partnership was announced by HPE President and CEO Antonio Neri and NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang during the HPE Discover keynote.

The HPE Private Cloud AI offers a cloud-based experience for managing AI workloads and business risks, supporting various AI tasks and ensuring data privacy and security. It includes NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and NIM Inference Microservices, along with HPE AI Essentials Software for unified control and compliance.

To deliver optimal performance, HPE Private Cloud AI is integrated with NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet Networks, HPE GreenLake file storage, and ProLiant servers with NVIDIA GPUs. The cloud experience is enabled by HPE GreenLake Cloud, offering observability and automation for AI infrastructure.

OpsRamp IT operations and AIOps provide observability for NVIDIA AI computing stack, facilitating insights and anomaly detection for AI infrastructure management. The collaboration with global systems integrators like Deloitte and Infosys aims to accelerate the development of AI solutions with business benefits.

HPE also supports the latest NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, and Superchips, including the HPE Cray XD670 server and ProLiant DL384 Gen12 Server. High-density file storage for NVIDIA DGX BasePOD and OVX systems is certified by HPE GreenLake, accelerating AI workloads at scale.

The HPE Private Cloud AI is expected to be generally available in the fall, along with the ProLiant DL380a Gen12 Server and DL384 Gen12 Server. The Cray XD670 server will be available in the summer, supporting NVIDIA GPUs and architectures for AI applications.
