Howard University and Amazon Web Services work together to educate employees and students about cloud technologies AWS Educate, an online tutorial.

The partnership announced this month that Howard University, a privately owned, historically black institution in Washington, DC, is adding cloud computing to its offering, including the launch of a new master’s degree in data science in 2022, training and faculty expansion on cloud services and other technologies Cloud computing courses at the Howard Middle School of Mathematics and Science, located on the university campus.

By including segments of AWS cloud courses, Howard can provide students with cutting-edge technical skills and prepare them for the workforce. By offering faculty training in cloud skills and areas such as machine learning and cybersecurity, these technologies can be incorporated into their curriculum.
