Oracle is aggressively recruiting for its new headquarters in Nashville, offering thousands of dollars in incentives to convince existing employees to relocate. However, workers are concerned about lower pay ranges, limited career growth and a weaker local tech job market compared to the other major Oracle centers. Senior Vice President Scott Twaddle said the company is “creating a world-leading cloud and AI hub” to attract top talent from across the country. In a statement to Bloomberg, Twaddle said: “We are creating a world-leading cloud and AI hub in Nashville that will attract top talent locally, regionally and from across the country. We have seen great success in recruiting for engineering and technology roles locally and will continue to recruit aggressively over the next few years.”
