Surreal and yet calm. Fresh and yet timeless. Stylish and yet unusual. Lonely and yet content. Perhaps it is the tensions in Franki Domino’s illustrations that serve as a starting point for the narratives he wants to create. They definitely stimulate conversation, as does his imaging technique.
