Homelab projects to try this weekend (November 14-16)

For starters, you should definitely virtualize your services. Having your different services hosted on virtual machines is more beneficial than you might think. Then, you should set up a VPN, and finally end the weekend by setting up your computers to back up to your NAS.

When I started my deeper dive into homelab in early 2021, I had one server that ran everything. Sure, I used Docker on that server, but my storage and services were all tied to one piece of hardware. If I had to spin my storage array down, my Minecraft servers also went offline. It was annoying.
