Hewlett Packard Enterprise Partners With Nvidia to Accelerate Japan’s ABCI 3.0 as Leading AI Supercomputer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has partnered with Nvidia to create Japan’s fastest AI supercomputer, ABCI 3.0, for the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). The new supercomputer will be powered by HPE Cray XD systems with NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPUs and Quantum-2 InfiniBand networks to meet the increasing computational demands of AI workloads in Japan. This collaboration aims to boost productivity, drive economic growth, and advance scientific discovery in the country. According to NVIDIA’s founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, this partnership will help Japan leverage its unique capabilities and data effectively. This announcement has positively impacted HPE’s stock, which has seen a 22% increase over the past year.
