Colombia-based cybersecurity company Attila security was acquired by ID technologies in a move aimed at increasing the company’s presence in Ashburn, Virginia, near Fort Meade and increasing both companies’ market share in providing secure remote access to the national security room.
With the transaction, the entire Attila team will move to ID Technologies and will continue to be based in Maryland. The companies manufacture both hardware and software products that the CEO of ID Technologies Chris Oliver referred to as “very complementary”. Executives plan to combine the two intellectual property and product portfolios into one offering. The terms of the transaction and the number of employees in each company were not disclosed.
“Together we will continue to expand both our product portfolio and our employment base,” said Oliver.
