In corporate wellness news, Komprise doubled its revenue in the first six months of 2021 and is partnering with AWS to sell cloud tiering data services to the healthcare sector.
The company sells data management lifecycle technology that can detect outdated, inaccessible files and move them to lower-cost storage tiers, including Amazon’s S3 and S3 Glacier cloud vaults. Komprise offers an Elastic Data Migration offering that provides file data migrations to Amazon’s Elastic File System (EFS) and FSx for Windows File Servers, including Azure Files. Users access files from their original locations and can access their data on AWS with the option to access them directly instead of rehydrating files back to primary storage.
Komprise says revenue was up 97 percent year over year in the first half of 2021, with the company seeing new customer growth of 190 percent and an average contract size growth of 200 percent. That is healthy.
