HCLTech is acquiring HPE’s Telco Solutions business to further strengthen its position in the telecom services market.
Following a previous transaction with HPE in 2024, HCLTech, through the new acquisition agreement, will gain additional intellectual property, product engineering and R&D talent, and customer relationships with leading global communications service providers (CSPs).
Telco Solutions supports more than one billion devices in more than 200 deployments worldwide. It enables 5G operations support systems (OSS), home subscriber server (HSS) and subscriber data management (SDM) installations with advanced AI-powered closed-loop network automation for “seamless network monetization.”
Telco Solutions was previously part of HPE’s Communications Technology Group (CTG), of which HCLTech acquired assets in 2024, including business support systems (BSS), network applications, cloud services and data intelligence. HCLTech says these have been “successfully integrated and…
