HCLTech and IBM are partnering to establish a new Generative AI Center of Excellence (GenAI CoE) that will utilize IBM’s Watsonx platform. This center will be located in HCLTech’s cloud-native and AI labs in Noida, London, New Jersey, and Santa Clara. The main goal of the GenAI CoE is to assist enterprises in modernizing their legacy applications, developing IT Service Management (ITSM) use cases, reducing coding complexity, and enhancing skills development with the IBM Watsonx platform to drive continuous innovation and improve digital skills for increased business productivity.

Alan Flower, Executive Vice President and Global Head of AI and Cloud Native Labs at HCL Technology, expressed excitement about expanding their collaboration with IBM to explore the potential of AI technologies and create unique offerings using the latest IBM tools. He mentioned plans to integrate Watsonx into HCLTech’s AI Force with GenAI-powered solutions to support code modernization and help customers accelerate GenAI adoption through Watsonx-enabled AI.
