Halo infiniteThe multiplayer beta has been a blast so far, but a common criticism is that you can’t choose a dedicated playlist for Slayer, the game’s deathmatch mode. Fortunately, that will change soon, but not until next year.

343 Industries Community Manager John Junyszek Tweeted Friday that a Social Slayer playlist is in the works but won’t be ready until after the holidays. Junyszek also said 343 intends to add Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT), and Free-For-All playlists “before the end of the year”.

At the moment you cannot select a playlist for a single game mode. Instead, you’ll be randomly placed into one of the modes currently available, which include things like Slayer, Capture The Flag, and Oddball. This can be annoying when you only want to play one type of game – especially when you have a challenge that can only be completed in a certain mode. So the upcoming dedicated playlists might help alleviate some frustrations.

343 Industries has made several other changes in response to feedback since the beta releases surprising publication on November 15th. In particular, players were unhappy with the speed of Battle Pass progression, which 343 tried by adding. to change new “Play 1 Game” challenges Days after the launch and, especially this week, the amount of XP increased significantly for played the first six games in one day.

gloriole Fans can look forward to more than just multiplayer improvements: Infinite The single player campaign starts on December 8th. However, you can only start the campaign on your own as the co-op function is only being added May 2022 at the earliest.
