It was nice less than a month since the release of Halo infiniteIt’s multiplayer mode, but since then developer 343 Industries has taken community feedback into account when planning future changes to the game. This includes a shake-up of Halo infinite‘s multiplayer playlists.

On Twitter, 343 community manager John Junyszek shed light on plans for the game, saying the studio was working on adding Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT) and Free-For-All playlists “before the end of the year”. You won’t be ready for Halo infinite‘s official launch on December 8th, in other words.

Junyszek also said that developer-developers plan to add a social slayer playlist, but that won’t happen Halo infinite until “after the holidays”.

It’s a big change as the current version of doesn’t allow players to select a playlist to play a single game mode Halo infinite. Instead, players are put into a selection of random game modes – so if you want to stick with deathmatch or avoid goal-based missions, you’re out of luck.

This isn’t the first change 343 has made based on player feedback. Prior to this announcement, players also raised concerns about it Halo infiniteBattle Pass Progress. In response, 343 announced that players could gain experience by playing a certain number of games per day.
