According to a survey by Ping Identity, most IT leaders worry about password theft in their organization.
Passwords have long been a poor way to protect sensitive accounts and data. Faced with the challenge of using a unique and complex password for every account, many people are turning to simple and vulnerable passwords instead, putting themselves and their organizations at risk. A report released Tuesday by Ping Identity and Yuibco looks at the impact of weak passwords.
To create their report, titled “Our passwordless future: A New Era of Security,” in April 2022, Ping and Yubico commissioned Wakefield Research to survey 600 IT executives and decision makers higher up in the US, UK, Australia, France and Germany.
