Hackers make false bomb threats through Rock County resident's Facebook account


JANESVILLE, Wis. – Police say a Rock County resident’s Facebook account was hacked and used to issue threats against government buildings and officials.

According to a news release, the Janesville Police Department investigated the threats and found them to be not credible. An investigation revealed that the account was hacked from somewhere in Iowa.

Those responsible posted the owner’s name, address and phone number along with the threats.
