Nubia’s sub-brand, Red Magic, recently announced the launch of their new Titan 16 Pro laptop alongside the Red Magic 9S Pro and 9S Pro+ smartphones. The Titan 16 Pro boasts a 16-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 3ms response time, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 2560 x 1600 resolution. It also features a peak brightness of 500 nits, G-Sync and DC dimming support, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by an Intel Core i9 CPU and either Nvidia’s GeForce RTX4060 or RTX4070 graphics. Users can configure up to 32GB of Samsung-made 5600MHz DDR5 memory, with the option to upgrade up to 96GB. Storage options include a 1TB Samsung PM9A1 SSD with a read speed of 7000MB/s, along with a PCIe 4.0 M.2 expansion slot for additional storage.
The Red Magic Titan 16 Pro is equipped with a Magic Cooling system featuring two large fans running at 3850 RPM, dual stereo speakers with DTS-X Ultra, an FHD IR camera with Windows Hello support, and 100W PD fast charging capabilities. In terms of connectivity, the laptop includes a Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI 2.1, USB-C 3.2, USB-A 3.2, Ethernet port, audio jack, and SD card slot. It weighs 2.3 kg.
The Dark Knight version of the laptop will be available starting July 9, with the Glacier edition launching later in the month. Pricing for the Dark Knight version starts at CNY 10,499 ($1,444) for the RTX4060, 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage, while the Glacier Silver version with the same specs will cost CNY 11,299 ($1,554). For the RTX4070 and 32GB RAM variant, customers will need to pay CNY 13,299 ($1,829), with this option only available in Glacier Silver.
The Red Magic Titan 16 Pro is set to hit international markets in the fourth quarter of 2024, between October and December.
