The S&P 500 rose 0.28% to 7,743.98 and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.27% to 26,549.85 on Wednesday, according to Yahoo Finance. After the close, Alphabet shares fell 9.97% in after-hours trading.
Alphabet’s third-quarter profit came in well below forecasts, according to Investing.com. Tonight it is Amazon’s and Intel’s turn to report.
