As we approach the final month of the year, the biggest news in tech might simply be something that confuses users and leaves us wondering if AI is getting out of control. Over Thanksgiving, images emerged of tech moguls like Elon Musk meeting other tech billionaires appeared on social media. The culprit? Google Gemini’s Nano Banana Pro AI image generation tool that can now create fake images look hyper-realistic and can hardly be distinguished from reality.
