Google recently released an impressive Pixel update in June, but many Pixel device owners, including those on T-Mobile and Verizon, have not yet received the software update. Google Fi customers, who use T-Mobile’s network, are also patiently waiting for the update to arrive. Despite Google’s quick release of updates, some users are expressing frustration on Reddit for not receiving the new software promptly.

The June update includes new features such as the ability for Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a users to utilize Gemini Nano, Google’s efficient AI model previously only available on the Pixel 8 Pro. The Find My Device app has also received a major update that allows users to locate their phone even with a dead battery. Additionally, Pixel 8, Pixel 8a, and Pixel 8 Pro users can now support Display Port, enabling connection to larger displays like computer monitors via USB-C. Other improvements include updates to the Recorder app, reverse number lookup, camera updates, and more.

Despite the delayed rollout, everyone is expected to receive the update from Google eventually. Hopefully, T-Mobile and Verizon customers will receive the update soon.
