Google revealed its plans for its annual Pixel hardware event, scheduled for August 13, which is earlier than usual. The event will take place at the company’s headquarters in Mountain View, California, unlike previous years when it was held in New York City. The focus of this year’s event will be on the Pixel 9 Pro, Android, and Google’s AI technology.
The keynote will start at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, with the invitations being sent out a month and a half in advance. Last year’s event was only announced a month before it took place. The invitation hints at the showcase of Google’s AI, Android software, and Pixel device portfolio.
In addition to the Pixel 9, Google is expected to unveil two sizes of the Pixel 9 Pro, including a smaller flagship model. There are also rumors of a Pixel 9 Pro Fold variant. The event may also feature the 41mm and 45mm Pixel Watch 3, along with the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
