Google reveals it is behind big ‘Project Cannoli’ data center

Tech giant Google would be the operator of a large data center slated for Wayne County’s Van Buren Township that until now has only been known by the code name “Project Cannoli.”

Google announced on Tuesday, March 17, that it is the company behind the planned 1-gigawatt data center, ending months of secrecy and speculation as to which tech firm the project belongs to.
